Vandals smash dozens of Bronx store windows with marbles: Police

The NYPD is seeking information about vandals who left a trail of broken glass across the Bronx on Sunday.

In the span of about an hour and a half, from 7:15 to 8:40 p.m., an unknown number of passengers inside a white four-door sedan and a black SUV were involved in several acts of criminal mischief.

According to surveillance photos and video released by the NYPD, theindividuals in the vehicles hurled marbles at the windows of businesses and vehicles around the borough.

At least 28 restaurants, retail stores and a Chase bank branch had windows smashed. They included an Applebee’s in Throggs Neck, a Modell’s in Fordham and a Pioneer grocery store in Parkchester.

No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.

An MTA bus was also targeted.
