Verrazano-Narrows Bridge to close for New York City Marathon

The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge will be closed to traffic on Sunday for the New York City Marathon.

Drivers who need to travel to Brooklyn or Staten Island will need to use a different route. The bridge is closed to vehicles from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, and the upper level will close at 11 p.m. on Saturday.
