Leger Douzable might have the best sack dance in the New York Jets locker room and according to the defensive lineman, he’s also the team’s best ping pong player. This is a fact, he says, no matter what teammate Brandon Marshall might say.
On Monday morning before the Jets took to the practice field, Marshall posted a video via his Instagram account showing a high-speed version of his ping pong match at the team’s facility. The video, which shows Marshall mugging at the camera, mainly features Douzable picking up the ball repeatedly off the ground, never a good thing in an intense game of ping pong.
Along with the video, Marshall also posted a message that read: “bmarshall@legerdouzable I owned you at #UCF and I own you in @nyjets.. .#mindovermatter.” Douzable and Marshall are both alumni of Central Florida.
But it was an isolated case of a good day of ping pong for Marshall, so says Douzable who has claimed himself to be the best player in the locker room.
“I beat him five times as many times as he’s beaten me,” Douzable told Metro in an exclusive expose on the state of ping pong in the Jets locker room. “He got lucky today.”
