Queen's song "Bicycle Race" has a whole new meaning now.

A man on a bike was caught on a car's dashcam ripping a phone out of a pedestrian's hands and then being chased by another man on a bike on Thursday.

The pursuit, first brought to light by Reddit, happened on Avenue A and 7th Street at about 5:30 p.m. The user who uploaded the video said it was from his friend whose dashcam happened to capture the dastardly deed.

iPhone thefts in the Big Apple have surprisingly declined since the implementation of "kill switches" on smartphones. A kill switch allows the owner of the phone to remotely turn it off and lock it in case it is ever stolen.

Between January 2013 and December 2014 iPhone thefts decreased 25 percent since the implementation of the kill switch in Apple products, according to Reuters. Even with this decline it looks like swiper is still swiping.

As of now the thief has yet to be caught.
