VIDEO: NYPD seeks potential witness in deadly Bushwick beating

Victim Jose Guzman died of his injuries, police said.

Police want to speak to a man who might have seen what led to the up to the beating death of a Brooklyn man in late August.

Jose Guzman, 42, died days after cops said an unknown white Hispanic man punched and kicked Guzman to the ground in front of a Bushwick restaurant around 4 a.m. on Aug. 24.

Paramedics rushed Guzman to a local hospital, where he remained in critical condition until he died from his injuries, police said Wednesday.

Authorities re-released surveillance video of the man who they suspect got into the argument with Guzman off ofGates Avenue. The latest version shows second man who police think might have been a witness to the assault or can identify the attacker.

NYPD described the possible witness as a white, blond-haired man last seen wearing a green V-neck T-shirt, dark pants, glasses and a backpack.
