Police are seeking a man alleged to have robbed two Manhattan nail salons at gunpoint.
Around 8:10 p.m. on Friday, April 15, the man entered Jay Nails at 780 Broadway and approached a 36-year-old female employee, put his hand in his jacket pocket and claimed to have a gun, police reported. Almost two months later on Sunday, June 12, the same suspect entered Il Girasole Nail Spa at 13A E. Fourth St. and again claimed to have a gun in his pocket as he demanded money from a 26-year-old female employee, the NYPD added.
At this second robbery, the suspect left with approximately $700 in cash before fleeing in an unknown direction, officials said.

The suspect was described by police as a white man between 35 and 50 years old who stood between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot-2 and weighed between 170 and 210 pounds. He was last seen in a black coat, green shirt, green pants and green hat.
