Finally, a food holiday that is actually cause for celebration. Here’s what the chains are doing, but this is your definitive list of all the free NYC coffee today, Sept. 29, for National Coffee Day.

At Jacques Torres Chocolate’s recently opened Midtown location (110 E. 57th St.), get a free small Illy coffee or espresso beverage all day long.

Don’t just get a coffee when you head down to Martha Stewart Café (601 W. 26th St.). Splurge on a pastry with your free 8 oz. brew from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Cosi is giving away coffees on Wednesdays until the end of the year, but they’re making an exception for Tuesday today. Stop in for a free iced or hot coffee.

For the lactose intolerant among us, Birch Coffee’s three locations are all serving free lattes made with Lactaid milk from 7-10 a.m.

Commuters, stop in at Zaro’s Family Bakery for a cup of hot or iced coffee on the house with any purchase.

From noon to close, get a hot or iced coffee (on tap!) with any purchase at Randolph Beer (342 Broome St.).

The owner of Tuscan Gun Officine & Alimentari (199 Windsor Place, Windsor Terrace), no less than Madonna bestie Debi Mazar, will give out free coffee from 8 a.m. to noon.

Keep your buzz going at theGran Bar at Eataly(200 Fifth Ave.), where there’s serving up free 8 oz. Lavazza drip coffees from 1-3 p.m.
