Will D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young play tonight vs. Heat (TV start time)? Twitter update

Lakers rookie D’Angelo Russell not only broke guy code by posting a video of an oblivious Nick Young bragging about how many girls he gets – he broke the ultimate teammate code (video above).

Things are going to get mighty awkward tonight at the Staples Center when LA hosts the Heat (10:30 p.m., EDT …. ON NBA TV!). Russell and Young are also scheduled to speak to reporters (hopefully together) prior to Wednesday night’s game.

Young’s girlfriend – Australian rapper Iggy Azalea – has already responded on Twitter and Young appears to be in deep, deep trouble.

“Hmmm i see D Angelo Russell is trending… I actually liked his film. Thanks bro,” @IGGYAZALEA tweeted out late Tuesday night.

Azalea was tweeting up a storm on Wednesday as well but most of it was promotional stuff that had little to do with the scandal.

Russell hasn’t composed his own tweet since March 24, tweeting, “Let’s be real!”

Young tweeted last on Monday, tweeting, “What’s going on in 2016”

Two days earlier he tweeted, “You dnt wanna be me in a relationship.”

Former NBA player Stephen Jackson was very outspoken about the situation on ESPN Wednesday, saying of Russell: “Snitches get stiches.”
