A young woman was blown off the roof of a Washington Heights building while urinating early Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.
The 19-year-old woman was drunk when the gust of wind caused her to topple off of the 179th Street building's roof around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, DNAinfo reported.
The woman, who was not identified, reportedly fell two stories and was in critical condition at a Harlem hospital. She had been drinking alcohol before the incident and was on the roof with a 21-year-old man, according to DNAinfo.
It's the second recent incident in the New York area where a person has been blown from a rooftop. Earlier this week, police in New Jersey were investigating after strong winds appeared to play a part in the death of a Teaneck building manager's death.
In that incident, the man fell seven stories.
Strong winds were expected to continue this week, with gusts as high as 34 mph through Thursday night.
