A woman in police custody for running out of a dinner bill busted out of her downtown Manhattan hospital room on Sunday evening, authorities said.

Investigators continue to search for Tiffany Neumann, 23, who escaped police custody while being treated at New York Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital on William Street at around 9 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said Neumann was originally arrested on Saturday and was being held for arraignment when she complained about her physical well being, telling police she was pregnant.

NYPD was not able to confirm that Neumann was pregnant, however, since she slipped out of her handcuffs and bolted from the hospital room.

Last seen wearing the hospital gown she was checked in with, Neumann is described by police as 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds.
