Woman killed by MTA bus that didn’t stop in Brooklyn: police

Woman killed by MTA bus that didn’t stop in Brooklyn: police

A 70-year-old woman was hit and killed by an MTA bus that kept on driving in Brooklyn early Tuesday morning, police said.

The woman, who has not yet been identified, was crossing the intersection of Fulton and Sackman Street in East New York around 6:14a.m. when she was hit by the MTA bus making a right turn.

Police said theNYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the crash.

An MTA spokeswoman said mid-morning thatthe agency is investigating and no further information is available.

WABCreporter KalaRama tweeted from the scene that the woman was using a walker to cross Fulton Street.

The fatal crash came threedays after a driver jumped a curb in the Bronx and hit and killed three family members who were trick-or-treating.
