A 26-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a Bronx woman he reportedly attacked with a machete — cutting off one of her hands.
On Sunday, Jan. 24 at about 4:08 p.m. police responded to a call of a woman stabbed inside 383 141 St. When they arrived, cops found 59-year-old Carmen Torres-Gonzalez with numerous lacerations to her body, authorities said. Police later arrested Angel Feliz, who lived in the same building as the victim, and have charged him with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
According to The New York Times, police officials said Feliz attacked the victim with a machete. Torres-Gonzalez had lacerations to her neck, cheek and shoulder; and part of her left hand was severed, while her right hand was completely chopped off.
