Former teen pop sensation Aaron Carter claims he was beaten up this weekend during a visit to Boston, and that the perpetrators were four hardcore New Kids on the Block fans who claimed he was on their turf.

Carter’s Instagram shows photos of a black eye and bruised knuckles.

Carter told TMZ he was in Boston over the weekend to play a show Sunday night, and was leaving a restaurant on Saturday night when one of the alleged culprits — a grown man — approached him and said, “I heard you’re doing a show here tomorrow. This is the town of the New Kids.”

A Chevy Malibu pulled up, according to Carter, and three more men jumped out.

“I think my knuckles might be broken, but that’s what they get,” Carter told the website. “People think I’m a pretty little white boy but no way. I think I won. I’m still standing.”

He also tweeted to New Kids on the Block star Jordan Knight, “Eh @jordanKnight this one of your homies? He got his ass handed to him last night but his boys got me.. #Soldier.”

The singer went on with his performance, and did not file a police report because “it’s girlie.”

Carter, 25, is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter. He gained recognition as a pop and hip-hop singer in the late 1990s.
