Workers arrive at the Visteon car components plant in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Wednesday after a rally to protest against redundancy and pension packages offered to laid-off workers.

Visteon was spun off from Ford in 2000 but has struggled to make a profit. On March 31, it sought bankruptcy protection and accountants ordered its three plants shut immediately.
