With protests and riots taking place in the heart of Baltimore, the Baltimore Orioles organization and Major League Baseball made the decision to make adjustments to Wednesday’s game against the Chicago White Sox.

Tomorrow’s game against the White Sox will be played at 2:05 P.M. but will be completely closed to the public. This is the first game in Major League Baseball history that will be played without any fans present.

MLB made this announcement Tuesday afternoon and posted the following statement to Twitter.

The Orioles are scheduled to play a series against the Tampa Bay Rays on May 1-3 but the games will be moved to St. Petersburg, Florida and they will play as the home team. Fans with tickets to any of the games scheduled from April 29 – May 3 can exchange their tickets for any home game this season.
