Blake Lively for Chanel?

Gossip has it that Blake Lively will be the new face of Chanel. Speculation has mounted about a pairing ever since Blake was spotted sitting comfort­ably beside Anna Wintour at the fashion house’s Fall/Winter ’10 couture show. Coupled with an American Vogue cover and countless red carpet appearances clad in — you guessed it — Chanel, it seems likely that the rumors will prove true. However, the “Gossip Girl” star will have some, shall we say, slender shoes to fill; present and past cover girls include Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley and Vanessa Paradis.
