Calgary police believe murder suspect may be in B.C.

Police searching for a man wanted for first-degree murder in the 2010 death of a man whose body was concealed in a car believe he may be in British Columbia.


Calgary Police Service say they have been looking for Pablo Rodrigo Russell, 34, since April 2010 and investigators believe he may be in B.C.'s Lower Mainland.


On Jan. 19, 2010, the body of Serafino Virgilio, 57, was found concealed inside a vehicle in the 100 block of Falsmere Way N.E., however, police believe he was killed on Jan. 17 in a nearby home.


Russell is described as Hispanic, 5’11” tall and 176 lbs. with green eyes and brown hair. He also goes by the first name Pall. He has a scar on his nose and a tattoo of a dragon on his upper back.


In addition to being identified as the suspect in a murder, Russell has also been charged with one count each of accessing and possessing child pornography.
