It will be months before police can say for certain what caused the death of a 44-year-old man found in his North Street apartment Tuesday.
Halifax Regional Police spokesman Const. Jeff Carr said Wednesday investigators are waiting for a toxicology report, which could take quite some time.
“It’s not something that’s going to be resolved in the next few days,” Carr said.
The man was involved in a fight outside a Halifax bar two days before his death, but an autopsy determined those injuries didn’t kill him.
“There are no other signs of foul play,” Carr said.
