New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is meeting with his top campaign aides, and he is expected to suspend his Republican presidential bid.

One source told CNN that the governor understood that not qualifying for the upcoming Saturday debate and a lack of money have prohibited his campaign from moving forward.

Christie had made a strong play to finish big in New Hampshire, visiting the state 38 times before Tuesday’s primary, NECN added in a related report.

But on Tuesday night, Christie finished with only 7 percent of the vote, according to CNN, which added that the governor is still working out the details of potentially ending his campaign.
