City road closures, restrictions

MARCH 21

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, Old Banff Coach Road S.W., between Coach Hill Road (south leg) and Patterson Boulevard, will be reduced to one lane in each direction for watermain work. All traffic will be directed to the west side of Old Banff Coach Road S.W., as crews will be working in the existing northbound lanes. The lane restrictions are expected to last until 6 p.m. Saturday, March 21.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday March 21 the left lane of Eastbound Bow Trail S.W., east of Crowchild Trail S.W. will be closed for bridge deck testing. The lane is expected to reopen to traffic by 7 p.m. that evening.

Beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday March 21, the south side of 17 Avenue S.W. west of 14 Street S.W. will be reduced to a two-way traffic operation to repair a sewer line. The road is expected to reopen to traffic by 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 22.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday March 21, 11 Avenue S.E. between 1 Street S.E. and Macleod Trail S.E. will be closed for construction. Motorists are advised to use 10 Avenue S.E. to bypass this closure. The road is expected to reopen to traffic on Sunday March 22 at 6 p.m.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday March 21, Bowness Road N.W. will be reduced to one lane in each direction between 45 Street N.W. and 46 Street N.W. for utility work. This road is expected to reopen to traffic by 5 p.m. on Sunday March 22.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 14 Street N.W. at 7 Avenue N.W. will be reduced to one lane in each direction for a water main repair. These lanes are expected to reopen to traffic by 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 22.

MARCH 22

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Sunday, March 22, the left lane northbound and left turn bay southbound on Old Banff Coach Road at Coach Hill Road (south leg), will be closed to allow for watermain work. In addition, southbound to eastbound left turns and eastbound to northbound left turns will be restricted. These lane restrictions are expected to last until 6 p.m. Sunday, March 22.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Sunday March 22, the centre lane of eastbound Bow Trail S.W. east of Crowchild Trail S.W. will be closed for bridge deck testing. The lane expected to reopen to traffic by 5 p.m. that evening.
