Court hears chilling testimony in murder case superior court

A 14-year-old boy accused of murdering his mother threatened to kill police for questioning his girlfriend, court has heard.

A 14-year-old boy accused of murdering his mother threatened to kill police for questioning his girlfriend, court has heard.

The youth was “very angry, dripping with venom,” when he learned his girlfriend had been summoned to the police station, his aunt Nina Pelletier testified in the Superior Court of Justice on Thursday.

“He said ‘they’ve gone too far. I’m going to kill them all,’ ” she quoted him as saying. His girlfriend had nothing to do with his mother’s disappearance, the youth told Pelletier. “When they come out, I’m taking one down with me,” she said, quoting him in another reference to police.

The youth, now 16, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his mother Michelle Barnoski.

Police found her body with eight gunshot wounds buried in the backyard of their home.
