Christian Audigier, the fashion designer behind Ed Hardy and Von Dutch, has died at 57 reports TMZ. He leaves behind his daughter and two sons.

According to the site, the fashion mogul was diagnosed with cancer in January, which he confirmed was MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome). In March he received a bone marrow transplant.

Audigier’s brands, best known for trucker hats and T-Shirts with tattoo prints, exploded on the scene in the 2000s.

His publicist, Michele Elyzabeth, confirmed to the website LATF USA, "I just heard the news and I am truly devastated. Christian was an incredibly brilliant man. He will be missed."
