A large warehouse and two quanset buildings were destroyed by a large blaze in an industrial area in the city’s northwest Tuesday.
Initial reports say an explosion rocked a business, Sure Shot Sandblasting, at 22003 115 St., sometime before 2 p.m.
Firefighters were able to contain the flames just after 2:35 p.m.
A caller to a radio station, claiming to be a worker at the company, said the explosion was sparked by a welder.
No word yet on whether anyone was hurt.
Fire investigators are on scene trying to find a cause of the blaze.
No tally has been made on damages.
