Get those cameras snapping! This is the final week to enter the Metro Photo Challengefor a chance to win the grand prize trip to Ghana.
In this year’s challenge, there have been more than 6,475 photos submitted in the U.S. and more than 100,335 globally.
“I’ve noticed there are many people out there who express their creativity through photography,” said Lenyon Whitaker, multimedia editor for Metro US and an MPC juror who is poring over your submissions to find the U.S. winner. That person will then compete in the global contest.
“A photo that appears to be taken with a camera phone holds the same value as one taken with an expensive DSLR camera. At the end of the day, it’s all about your creative vision and how you view the world,” Whitaker said.
