Toronto police responded to a call Saturday afternoon that a sewing needle had been found in the uncooked meat package ordered from online food delivery service, GroceryGateway.com.

Both police and the CFIA are looking into the incident, focusing particularly on where the beef was prepared and packaged.

Marilyn Taylor, a spokesperson for the CFIA, said there have been no reports of illness or injuries.
