Two men have been arrested following a high-speed police pursuit early Saturday morning.

The Ottawa Police Service received a complaint after a vehicle drove through a gated fence on Mac Street in the city’s south end. A police officer near the scene attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver sped away. A pursuit of approximately 20 kilometres ensued, with speeds ranging from 40 kilometres per hour to 120 km/h.

The chase ended with the driver and passenger being arrested after being blocked in by police. There were no reported injuries or damage to any vehicles.

Christopher Cyr, 27, and Andre Wolf-Bard, 19, face numerous charges.
