An enraged man went ballistic on a customer service agent after spending three hours in the company’s phone system.
It’s unclear what business the caller is trying to conduct, however he said he is trying to reach an elusive employee named Michelle.
The heavy-breathing caller displays shades of Mel Gibson when he is greeted by an unsuspecting customer service agent named Mark.
“I am absolutely… I am your worst nightmare,” he says, before explaining his 3-hour ordeal. “What kind of a g-d damn situation is this?…The last two people who asked for the phone number put me on hold and never f-cking came back!”
He then ups the ante by throwing a threat into his rant: “Not to mention, I might go ballistic and come over there with a machine gun. I don’t have one, but I will go try and acquire one.”
The 8-minute unedited recording, which has collected over 450,000 visitson YouTube, can be heard below.
A recording of the phone call was allegedly uploaded by a former employee, according to a report bypajiba.com.
Many listeners came to the defense of the unidentified caller, saying they empathize with his frustration.
“You’ve obviously never been stuck in a customer service nightmare before,” Kevin Breen wrote on YouTube.
“People know me as one of the calmest, unemotional guys around, but I once bought a cell phone from Palm that was broken out of the box, and after spending literally over 40 hours (over 2 weeks) getting jerked around and lied to by CSRs trying to duck the manufacturer’s warranty, I sounded like this guy.”
