Mark and Patricia Potvin learned the “best possible bad news” last Friday night when Sgt. Dave Wallace, from Dawson, Yukon finally located the body of their son, Michael.
“Our biggest fear was that he’d never be found,” said Mark.
For two weeks after Michael disappeared, his parents and brother, Sean, joined the search and walked for miles up and down the banks of the Stewart River.
The family, said Mark, is “holding up because we’ve had three weeks of mourning to prepare ourselves for this.”
Wallace, who promised he would not stop searching until Michael was found, was true to his word, said Potvin.
