An Alaskan journalist was detained by Senate candidate Joe Miller’s private guards after attempting an interview on Sunday.

ANCHORAGE – An Alaskan journalist was detained by Senate candidate Joe Miller’s private guards after attempting an interview on Sunday. Tony Hopfinger was handcuffed at Central Middle School in Anchorage, though he was released after Miller had left. According to Hopfinger, his video camera — which was confiscated at the time — was returned to him minus footage of the event.
