Klea likes to splurge on Kiehl’s

Klea Scott

Klea Scott, actress, plays Sergeant Mary Spaulding on the CBC series Intelligence, which airs on Monday evenings:

Q: What products make you look and feel good?

A: Whenever I’m working I can suddenly afford Kiehl’s products. I use Nars for their oil-free based foundation. I do deep moisturizing for my hair with a Redken line that doesn’t require heat.

Q: Describe your style?

A: My husband calls my style funky-hippie. I don’t own a pair of skinny jeans and I refuse to damage my feet in the return of the pointed-toe trends from the eighties. I love shopping in vintage stores, flea markets and independent stores where I feel like I’m getting something unique.

Q: How do you keep life in perspective?

A: I don’t. I worry about the small stuff, but tequila helps.

Q: How do you stay fit?

A: I’m beginning a course in Pilates. I had been running about six miles, three times a week and doing yoga until about a year ago when I got a back injury.

Q: What are your healthy eating habits?

A: I swear by the morning banana. I focus on eating protein and vegetables. You should always eat dark, leafy, green vegetables.

Tobias Mehler

Tobias Mehler, actor, plays Bobby Briggs on Robson Arms, airing on CTV and The Comedy Network:

Q: What products make you look and feel good?

A: I really like to use whole and vital foods as the basis of my physical well being, looks included. I love Jason’s WitchVera, the witch hazel in aloe base is a fabulous aftershave/pre-moisturizer. I like to use the Clinique men’s products for preening.

Q: Describe your style?

A: My style revolves around two principles: one, if I have it with me, I can use it and two, what do I have with me? I like well-fitting pants, clean lines and earth tones.

Q: What things make life easier?

A: Whenever I lose myself in enjoying living on earth and using my own power to connect to this miraculous planet … Surfing is the prime example … I lose myself for hours on end.
