It seems even political insiders have problems scoring tickets to “Hamilton.”

WIkiLeaks posted 20,000 emails on its website that were reportedly obtained by the hacker “Guccifer” from Democratic National Committee servers.

One of those messages, discovered by Politico, is purportedly written by committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who asks a fellow Democrat for some help scoring 7 tickets to Hamilton.

“Hey Zach, I think I mentioned to you briefly that I am planning a trip with my college roommates in December to NYC,” the email, published by Wikileaks, reads. “It is for our 50th birthdays. Can you help me get 7 tickets to Hamilton from our friend who did the FR? We will be there from December 9-12.”

The letter was addressed to DNC finance director Allen Zachary last May, who reportedly replied that finding the tickets might be a struggle.

“Of course, happy to ask!” The email reads. “I’ve never seen an order of 7 fulfilled, I have seen as many as 4. Would you guys be willing to split up 4 and 3?”

“I hate to even ask but just want to make this as realistic as possible,” he concluded. “It’s like the hunger games around this thing.”

Sadly, the thread ends before we learn whether or not whether Schultz got a hold of any of the requested $167-a-pop tickets.

Of course, not every politico necessarily has trouble getting into the show: Bill and Hillary Clinton both attended after the latter was interviewed by the FBI earlier this month.
