Leduc gets direct bus line

Residents from the city of Leduc and Leduc County will find themselves more connected to the city of Edmonton this morning.

Residents from the city of Leduc and Leduc County will find themselves more connected to the city of Edmonton this morning.

The launch of the C-line commuter bus service from Leduc to Century Park LRT terminal commenced early this morning.

“The C-line means Leduc is instantly even more competitive for new residents and can expand for new businesses,” said Kenn Bur, a spokesperson with the City of Leduc. “Commuters can now affordably commute from Leduc to work at the airport or Nisku or in South Edmonton, or really anywhere in Edmonton using the Edmonton transit system.”

The buses are specifically designed for commuters and are equipped with Wi-Fi for those wanting to work on laptops. Though a stop at the Edmonton International Airport is en route to Century Park station, the C-line is not considered an airport shuttle.
