Good news, users of UberEATS who find themselves going hungry in the early-morning hours. The app-based food delivery service is now available 24 hours a day in New York City.
UberEATS launched here back in 2015 and originally delivered between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m. Starting Thursday, anyone with mad cravings during that four-hour window can now fulfill their need to feed.
And, if that’s not enough, in conjunction with the UberEATS’ expanding hours, the company is offering $5 off all late-night orders starting Thursday night through 6 a.m. Sunday to Metro readers who use the promo code NY247EATS.
“We are excited to announce that UberEATS will now be available 24/7 in New York City — providing restaurant partners with additional order opportunities, delivery partners with even more flexible earning opportunity and New Yorkers the ability to satisfy all of their late-night and early-morning cravings,” said Jon Feldman, general manager of UberEATS New York.
Any of the more than 100 UberEATS partners that are open during those hours will be included in the expanded service.
And yes, that means you will also be able to satisfy any McCravings you have for McDonald’s, which recently made delivery available through Uber EATS for about 300 of its 600 restaurants in the New York metro region, including locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.
“With 24/7 UberEATS service, New Yorkers will now be able to order their favorite McDonald’s menu items at the touch of a button, any hour of the day,” said Paul Hendel, president of the New York Tri-State McDonald’s Owner/Operators Association.
