An Arizona man who lost his hand after a car accident in April of 2013 has been fitted with a robotic hand.
In this video, he demonstrates the different types of movements his and can do, including rotating his wrist 360 degrees, shaking a person's hand with the right amount of pressure and more. He also performs a weird trick where he sticks out his middle finger and rotates his wrist at the same time.
He uses the attached muscles to control the hand gestures and can trigger programmed movements just by moving his arm.
The hand is called the i-limb ultra prosthetic hand made by Touch Bionics. You can learn more about it on their site. Let's all give a round of applause to science and technology.
