Two women who fled their condemned Massachusetts home with a 7-year-old girl have been found in New York City, Boston.com reported.

The child’s mother Kristen Pacquette, 32, andgrandmother, Debra Pacquette, 54, face child endangerment charges for allegedly raising the girl in squalor at their Newburyport house.

The three were reportedly found Wednesday night in the Bronx, where they were staying with afriend.

The girl was in good health, the report said, and was taken into state custody.

Animal feces and trash littered the home, police said.

“What I saw was horrendous,” Newburyport Police Officer Kevin Martin reportedly said at the time. “It’s just a lot of piles and trash and everything imaginable.”
