Description: Metro Edmonton is inviting applications for reporting and photography internships.
The positions offer hands-on experience in a daily newsroom for journalists and photographers or recent grads who are beginning their careers. The positions are non-paid.
Successful applicants in the past have excelled at generating story ideas and writing concise and compelling features as well as covering breaking news. The ideal candidate can also combine photography and reporting skills.
Qualifications: The positions are open to students and recent graduates (within the last
year or two).
The internships are full-time and start January 2010. They run for three to four weeks, based on availability, Sundays to Thursdays.
