See the more serious side of Hefner tonight at the screening of Hugh Hefner — Playboy, Activist, and Rebel at District 319 Theatre (319 Main St.) Oscar-winning filmmaker Brigitte Berman will be in attendance to answer questions.
The documentary explores Hefner’s battles with the government, religious groups, and feminists as he built the Playboy empire.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and a reception will follow.
