Microsoft is releasing a version of its Office OneNote note-taking program for Apple’s iPhone as the software maker seeks to increase usage of Office on mobile phones.

REDMOND, WASHINGTON – Microsoft is releasing a version of its Office OneNote note-taking program for Apple’s iPhone as the software maker seeks to increase usage of Office on mobile phones.

The app will be available starting today as a free trial; the company hasn’t decided when and how much it will charge. It’s the first Office program for the iPhone and the third iPhone application from Microsoft.
