Calgary’s Mustard Seed could be collecting $100,000 in funding if voters decide they have the best idea.

Calgary’s Mustard Seed could be collecting $100,000 in funding if voters decide they have the best idea.

The non-profit organization has entered into the Pepsi Refresh Project Good Idea contest with the idea: “Help the formerly homeless become contributing community members.”

Courtney Fliss, communications manager at the Mustard Seed, said, “It’s such a simple and easy way to actually make a tangible difference ... $100,000 could go such a long way.”

Voting opened yesterday and the Mustard Seed is currently ranked 29th for the top idea.
