New York Fashion Week: Rude boys

New York fashion is now dominated by super cute, painfully cool guy designers with crazy bone structure and dreamy eyes. Who cares about the clothes when the designers look this good? We compare them all.

Prabal Gurung

The look: Is this dreamboat a Disney prince come to life? With his impossibly thick hair, high cheekbones and dark eyes, we think so.

The edge: Rye Rye, the underground hip-hop hipster queen, was the musical collaborator for his resort ’12 show.

Extra cuteness: He reps Nepal through his charity. We love a do-gooder. Plus, he’s a Twitter ninja, making it easier for you to follow your fashion crush.

Alexander Wang

The look: He’s got eyebrows that arch towards the Gods and a lithe frame that makes even sweatpants look chic.

The edge: He’s got all the cool girls in his coterie, including M.I.A., Zoe Kravitz and Erin Wasson — to name just a few.

Extra cuteness: He’s got rhythm! Have you ever seen this guy dance?

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez

The look: They’ve got a retro, sexy, clean-cut thing going — almost like they stepped off the set of “Mad Men.”

The edge: If you consider being un-PC an edge, then these guys have it. Their epic fail of a fashion video, “Act da Fool,” had black people crying foul. But it did feature too-cool-for-school director Harmony Korine.

Extra cuteness: They’re BFFs with the Olsens. Fashion double dates!

Joseph Altuzarra

The look: In the looks department, he’s like the fashion version of Brad Pitt: a pretty boy who sometimes roughens up his look with facial scruff.

The edge: He had the gatekeeper of all things French and cool, former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld, in his corner before he even had his first show in New York.

Extra cuteness: He’s an alumnus of Swarthmore College, where he studied art history. Brains and beauty — what’s not to love?
