‘No probable cause’ exists to file charges in the Ferguson shooting by police officer Darren Wilson that left Michael Brown, 17, dead, a Missouri grand jury has decided.

Protests in virtually every major city are taking place as communities react to the news.

“We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequences of his actions,” the family of Michael Brown said in a statement.
