Occupy Wall Street: Man proposes to girlfriend at Zuccotti Park (VIDEO)

Many interesting stories, videos and photos have emerged from the Occupy Wall Street protest. We’ve seen an NYPD scooter run over a protester’s leg. We’ve seen Mayor Bloomberg visit Zuccotti Park as well as Susan Sarandon and Kanye West. Come on, we even saw Occupy Wall Street label condoms. You get the point.

Well here is something that warmed our heart. Amidst plans to potentially move the protest to Lincoln Center, one man found the time to ask his girlfriend to “Occupy my life.”

At Liberty Plaza, using his fellow protesters as a human microphone, one man got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen in this movement, but I hope it’s half of successful as our marriage is going to be,” he said.

The video was posted on YouTube with the following caption:

‘I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make this moment in history a part of our story. I love you, Deb Zep.’
