In a bizarre twist to our daily internet trolling, we’ve discovered this little gem: Cat breading.
We can’t begin to understand how this idea came about but here it is. Given the prevalence of cat-crazies who spend countless hours online, this phenom is catching on and really giving competing time-wasters like planking and stocking a run for their money.
Cat breading requires more patience and work than those other things — you must take a piece of bread, cut out most of its center and then place your cat’s head through it. Then, you have to take a photo before your cat goes nuts, and revel in your delight while simultaneously pushing insecurities about being a complete freak out of your head. But, you are a complete freak.
A tumblr offers a glimpse into this odd practice and a Facebook page called “Putting bread on your cat, so that people think you have a walking sandwich” has more than 9,200 fans. How is this possible, you ask? It’s easy to understand once you see the photos. Actually, no. It’s not easy to understand at all.
