Optimism in fight against homelessness on National Housing Day

The federal and provincial governments, she said, are both expected to enact affordable housing strategies, possibly before the end of the year, and Ottawa mayor-elect Jim Watson has promised another $14 million annually to fight homelessness.


“This is really a time of immense opportunity at all three levels,” she said.
