Ottawa man charged in connection with bank robbery

City police arrested and charged a 24-year-old Ottawa man Thursday in connection with a December bank robbery.

City police arrested and charged a 24-year-old Ottawa man Thursday in connection with a December bank robbery.

On Dec. 15, officers responded to a robbery at the Scotiabank in the 3300 block of McCarthy Road.

The suspect allegedly passed a note to a teller making a demand for cash and left with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

There were no injuries.

David Beauregard has been released from custody and will appear in court on Feb. 23.
