Phashion Phest is Tonight!

Sharon Phillips Waxman of SPW Productions launched the annual Phashion Phest in 1994 with a mission to showcase upscale, yet accessible fashion and beauty for both men and women. This year’s Phashion Phest is produced in conjunction with The Philadelphia Collection.

A series of mobile fashion shows has been popping up all over the city during the day, but the main event will take place tonight at the Rotunda of the Shops at Liberty Place including a fashion show, cocktail reception, salon presentation and student designers.

Beginning at 7pm, the escalators will be transformed into a runway featuring fall items from the area’s hottest retailers, including Kimberly Boutique, Macy’s Mitchell & Ness, Nicole Miller, Scarlet Fiorella, Janice Martin Couture, Rococo, The Store for Men, South Moon Under, Ann Taylor LOFT, Express, Les Richards and Zinman. In addition, Aveda, Dentex, Fire & Ice and The Body Shop will present accessory, cosmetic and skincare looks. Also keep an eye out for student design displays from future fashion designers at The Art Institute of Philadelphia, Drexel University, Moore College of Art and Design and the University of Delaware.

Enjoy a cocktail reception at R2L immediately following the show with hor d’oevres and a top-shelf open bar featuring specialty drinks from Canadian Club, Jim Bea, Devil’s Cut, Skinny Girl Sangria and Pucker Vodka. Salon presentations from Heaven & Earth Salon, Panache Hair Design, Queen B, Rapunzel’s Salon & Spa, Richel D’Ambra Spa & Salon, Salon l’Etoile and Salon Rouge will offer guests an up-close-and-personal look at the latest fall beauty trends.

Tickets for Phashion Phest are $50 in advance, $60 at the door and $25 for students with a valid ID. Check out www.phashionphest.com for more details.
