Whenever you sit down at your favorite burger joint and prepare to indulge into all that meaty goodness, there’s a chance you might not be so concerned with how your mouth looks while you chow down on your sandwich.
In Japan, it is considered poor etiquette for women to show their mouths open. Here comes the dilemma. How can a Japanese woman eat a good burger while maintaining proper etiquette? A Japanese burger restaurant chain has the answer for that.
Freshness Burger has come up with a clever burger wrapper that allows women to eat their burger with two hands while hiding their faces and is called, “The Liberation Wrapper.” The wrapper has a picture of a closed mouth printed on it and it’s designed to create the illusion that their mouth is closed while they are handling burger business behind it.
