Recorded in 2006, Adams’ fifth album with the Cardinals saw them break from Easy Tiger’s twang to explore some spirited rock’n’roll. Like 2005’s Cold Roses, there’s too much to absorb at once, but thankfully the concept is loose and the band is fully amplified, leaving Adams to fully indulge in a tribute to The Replacements.
