Smallest Penis in Brooklyn winner stands tall

Nick Gilronan, the 27-year-old UPS Store worker who won Brooklyn's smallest penis contest. Nick Gilronan is a 27-year-old UPS Store worker who won Brooklyn’s smallest penis contest.

Meet Nick Gilronan, winner of the Smallest Penis in Brooklyn contest.

Gilronan entered the contest held in Kings County bar in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came out on top despite stiff competition. Using the nickname The Delivery Man, he wooed the crowd with his wit and showed them that what he lacked in his pants, he made up for in personality.

We caught up with Gilronan to talk about how his newfound fame was affecting his love life.

How did you hear about the competition and why did you decide to join?

I saw an ad on Craigslist with the headline of “looking for less-endowed men.” A headline like that catches the eye. I figured it would be a fun little event. I do modeling and acting so being in front of a crowd didn’t really bother me — and sometimes my modeling jobs are posing nude, so being scantily clad didn’t bother me either.

How did you come up with the nickname The Delivery Man?

I work at an UPS Store. The idea to go with that name came from one of the managers coordinating the event at King County bar in Brooklyn. I thought that was a great stage name to use.

Most people attributed your win to your carefree and positive attitude. How do you stay so happy in spite of your shortcomings?

I am a very easygoing guy, I’m told. Penis size is not an issue to me. I’m very happy with myself as a person. Everyone is a bit different. Penis size varies. Breast size varies. Some people are tall or short, etc. You are born a certain way and can’t change some of those things, so no point in worrying about such things.

I don’t think having a small penis should dictate my opinion of myself. My personality shapes who I am as a man, not the size of my penis.

Has anyone ever pointed out that you had a small penis?

My first girlfriend did. (I was her first boyfriend as well.) Neither of us knew any better.

In relationships after that it wasn’t pointed out to me, the women just knew. I’ve let them know that despite the size of my penis they would have a fun time, and they did. It was actually an experience like this that inspired the bar manager Aimee at King County Bar the idea to do a contest like this.

When you entered, did you think you were going to win?

I thought I had a very good chance to win due to my background in film and modeling. The contest was all about entertainment, and I’m an entertainer at heart. The contest wasn’t strictly based on measurements. It was more of a pageant-style event. There were three parts (formalwear, talent segment and evening/swimwear). The bar supplied the formal and evening wear. It was up to each participant to come up with their own outfit for the talent segment.

It was during the talent segment where I knew I was in the lead. My costume consisted of just a small box covering my genitals (a small package seemed like an appropriate costume, I thought) and I told a few jokes. Make the crowd laugh and they’ll love you for it.

Has the award helped you with the ladies?

It has. I’ve gotten messages and friend requests from women on both Facebook and Twitter. Not even just local girls (though I will say I have a date tomorrow with a female fan who lives in New Jersey). I’ve had women from Serbia, Finland and Brazil contact me. Time will tell how this all plays out, but I’m having fun with it still.
