Some home cooking for Audio/Rocketry

Local artists Audio/Rocketry are no strangers to the highs and lows of touring our vast country.

Local artists Audio/Rocketry are no strangers to the highs and lows of touring our vast country.

For each mile, they have a story; whether it’s playing in their underwear at a small house party or having the rims stolen off their camper van.

Following the release of their latest album, Eastward And Onward, the guys in Audio/Rocketry have been gaining recognition both in the local scene and in random far-reaching places.

Frontman Joe Vickers decided to put on a show to welcome his friends and frequent touring partners in Fire Next Time home.

“I’m getting really excited to see the boys from Fire Next Time once again,” Vickers said.

“Although the show is on a Wednesday night, I think it’ll be a good old rowdy and joyful time.

After all, this city is known for its heroic gestures during the midweek and I anticipate no less this Wednesday.”

The acoustic troubadours attract a wide range of audience members, from beer-drinking cowboys to crusty punk anarchists. Their live shows usually involve the entire crowd singing along to their catchy songs.

The Wunderbar Hofbrauhaus is at 8120-101 St. Admission is free.
